Who uses the M-560?

The M-560 is Britain’s favourite slimming scale: it’s used by more slimming groups in Britain than any other weighing scale.

The M-560 is based on the Marsden M-510 - a high accuracy, Class III Approved professional medical scale. Weighing scales used for medical purposes must be Class III Approved to ensure accuracy, reliability and repeatability when weighing patients. Whilst weighing scales for slimming groups do not need to be Class III Approved, the M-560 provides much greater accuracy assurance than standard slimming scales because it is based on a professional medical scale.

As well as slimming groups, the M-560 is used by gyms, personal trainers and sports clubs (particularly boxing clubs).

Why should I choose the M-560?

Choose the M-560 if you need a reliable, accurate weighing scale that’s portable and built to last.

The M-560 has a 250kg (39st) capacity and weighs to the nearest 200g (0.5lb). Weight readings on the separate indicator can be switched between g/kg and lb/st.

The scale features Hold (to stabilise the weight reading on the display) and Tare (to remove unwanted weight from the display, such as shoes). BMI can be calculated by entering the patient's height using the full numeric keypad. Three displays mean it's easier to read height, weight and BMI. The scale is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, meaning it can be used absolutely anywhere, with battery charge lasting 40 hours.
