What is the M-300 Baby Scale?

The M-300 is an ultra-lightweight and portable baby scale that boasts exceptional battery life, providing 600 hours of weighing from two AA batteries. Ideal for community health visitors, lactation consultants and neo-natal maternity units. Best-selling weighing device for babies and toddlers.

Who uses the M-300?

The highest possible accuracy is required when weighing babies, and there are few baby weighing scales that are as accurate as the Marsden M-300. Its 2g baby weighing accuracy means it’s a must-have for the NHS, clinics and hospitals alike - particularly neonatal wards, breastfeeding support and baby clinics. It's also commonly used by health visitors and lactations consultants.

Why should I choose the M-300?

The M-300 has several simple, but very useful, functions. The Tare function allows unwanted weight to be removed from the scale, such as a towel or blanket. The Hold function means the weight reading will stabilise on the large, clear display, even after the baby is taken off the scale.

The M-300 runs either via the adaptor or via battery power - and with regular charging, the weighing scale will carry out up to 18,000 weigh ins before needing new batteries. An auto power-off function (which can be adjusted) can also be used to save battery power.

All of Marsden's baby scales come with an optional carry case to make transportation easier. This scale is covered by the Marsden 8 Year Warranty.

What are Class III Approved baby scales?

Class III Approved scales are built, tested, verified and calibrated to meet a specific standard. The NAWI directive determines these standards - stating all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. Approved weighing scales are subject to rigorous testing by an EU notified body, which provides assurance to the user of the scales that they are accurate and reliable.
