What does the IP rating mean?

The PT-400 is IP67 rated. This IP rating refers to protection to water and dust; the first digit (‘6’) reflecting the protection to dust and the second digit (‘6’) is protection against water and other liquids. IP67 rated scales, like the PT-400, are protected against moisture when they are washed down with water. IP67 scales are protected against hosed down with jets of water. What are the benefits of pallet truck scales?

With pallet truck scales you can move pallets as well as weigh them. Pallet truck scales are often used to weigh goods before they are loaded onto vehicles. Instead of taking palletised goods to a scale to be weighed before loading onto a vehicle - usually a requirement - the pallet can be weighed by the pallet truck. The Accumulation function means the weight of several pallets can be totalised, giving you a total weight for the goods being added to the vehicle. Compared to alternatives, pallet truck scales ultimately save time in despatch processes.
