PT-600 Perfect for Pallet Weighing and Printing

Recently we’ve added two new scales to our pallet truck scales range - the PT-500 and PT-600. These scales feature our new I-400 indicator with bright LED display which means the scales are perfect for dark environments.
Marflow Engineering are British designers of luxury bathroom brassware - including taps, showers and accessories. They needed a scale for weighing in their warehouse - and contacted Marsden to discuss their needs. With our help they decided on the PT-600 - and we spoke to Debi Priest from Marflow to find out why.
Move, weigh and record
Debi said: “After an extensive search we chose the PT-600 as it had all the features we required for the right price.
“The scales were ordered to use in the general warehouse to move, weigh and record stock on pallets.
“We gave consideration to other scales, but after speaking to your customer services, downloading the relevant information and cross referencing this against others we chose the PT-600.”
Traceability of goods
One of the many key features of the PT-600 is that a printer is fitted to the scale - so that unit weights, accumulated weights, Tare values and more can be printed out and stored.
Debi continued: “The most useful features of the scales for us are its capability to accumulate totals and print a read out.
“It’s particularly useful when sending out multiple loads or when stocking more than one pallet on the same item that you can add quantities together.
“The printer, which was probably its main selling point for us, gives us verification and traceability of stock and goods.”
Accurate and Saves Time
The PT-600 is powered by rechargeable battery, providing 40 hours’ continuous use and meaning the scales can be used anywhere.
As the forks are low profile, with just 78mm ground clearance, the pallet truck is easy to load. Four loadcells in the forks provide an accurate weight reading.
Debi concluded: “It’s been an effective tool for us - it saves us time and provides accurate data of the weights.”
