Visit Marsden at the OT Show!

On the 24th and 25th of November, the Marsden team is attending the OT Show in Birmingham!

After almost two years away from the exhibition hall, the team here at Marsden are ready and raring to go for the Occupational Therapy Show. For us, events are a wonderful way of speaking to people, showcasing our products and connecting with similar businesses.

Marsden has been one of the UK’s leading weighing manufacturers for over 95 years. We understand the importance of an accurate weight in all environments. The new additions to our product range were designed to ensure that an accurate weight can be safely obtained for all patients. Therefore eliminating the need to guess a patient's weight or use cumbersome or undignified weighing apparatus.

This year at the OT Show, we are exhibiting our new M-615 Wheelchair Weigh Beams. A truly portable weighing device, ideal for weighing patients in the community to ensure that an accurate weight is obtained. Simply place the device on the floor, open them out and wheel the patient onto the beams. Within seconds, an accurate weight will be shown on the display.

Not only that, but we will also have our flagship product, the Patient Transfer Scale. Since this device was first launched in early 2018, this weighing scale has taken the world by storm. Now used in over 70% of NHS Trusts, the Patient Transfer Scale is paving the way in improving patient safety by eliminating the culture of guessing patient weights.
