The Developments at Marsden for 2022

For the first Marsden blog post of 2022, we are going to share some of the development which we are hoping to make throughout the year. Here at Marsden, we have big ambition, and we will continue to work hard, expand and make continued improve in order to achieve our goals. The list below details 5 key targets that we are already working hard to achieve:

Implementation of our ESG strategy

In early 2022, we began working with our partner KPMG to help implement our ESG strategy. Our initial kick off meeting with KPMG was enlightening as it allowed the management team here at Marsden to align their views to ensure that we are creating the most suitable strategy for our employees, stakeholders, the market and for our customer. We anticipate that the finalised strategy will be completed within a number of weeks, and we will then launch it to the public.

Continuing to develop our relationship with the NHS and Supply Chain

We are a proud supplier of medical weighing devices to the NHS, and the NHS continues to be one of our leading customers. We have an established team of Regional Account Managers in the UK, dedicated to visiting hospitals, carrying out training and demonstrating our new products. Throughout 2022, we hope that with COVID rules permitting, we will be able to visit a broader reach of NHS trusts and grow our already well-established network.

Travel internationally to train and develop relationships with our dealer network

We are incredibly fortunate in that we have a vast network of international dealers. Many of our international dealers are well established and have been working alongside Marsden for a number of years. However, we have a group of new dealers which we are yet to meet face to face due to COVID. With travel restrictions now lifted internationally, our International Sales Director is itching to travel, carry our face-to-face training and build on these relationships.

Bring new products to market to help improve patient outcomes

Back in March of 2020, Marsden brought a range of Thermometers and Oximeters to market to help monitor people accurately during the height of the pandemic. Following the high demand, we have made these healthcare items part of our standard portfolio. Throughout 2022, we would like to develop our range of healthcare products, to provide people in the community with a one-stop-shop for all of their healthcare monitoring requirements.

Support customers in various industries ensure that they are compliant with the help of accurate weights

Marsden have been working within the weighing industry for over 95 years. That means that we are experts in weighing, for all environments, not only the healthcare industry. This year our B2B manager is working closely with a range of industries, including food manufacturing, pharma, logistics and many more. Keep an eye on our industrial weighing products for the new and exciting additions to the range.
